The Day of Silence

Today I bought a bracelet. Not the silent one, the support one. I'm not going to shut up for a day, I can't.
But I gave the GSA a dollar because I support their cause. I'm not gonna tell everyone that they have to - it's your choice. In my humble opinion, gay bashing is wrong, and I respect the intentions of this annual event that takes a stand against it.

Besides the point, who cares? People joke, or they say something is gay, big deal! It's not always directed as a derogatory insult to make gays feel bad and wah wah wah, sometimes people just kid around. I don't have a problem with gay people, but I do have a problem when people try to tell me that I can't say something is gay or just kid around about it. Uptight liberal morons from the ACLU. If they really want to stop being oppressed or whatever they think is going on, they need to stop shoving it in people's faces that they are gay and proud of it and that other people need to give them respect.

Your statement is retarded. I'm not making a jest at retarded people, rather I am referring to the definition which comes from the Latin root slow, corresponding to slow in thought. Slow in thought is synonymous with stupid, therefore, QED, we can conclude that retarded is a correct word to use in this context. It isn't offending anyone, and I am not deliberately trying to make someone retarded feel bad, therefore I have the right to use whatever word choice that I desire, so long as the definition fits the context. Having said that, I think we can conclude that your accusation is rash and unnecessary, Liz, and that my statement was used correctly. Whether you like my word choice or not is another story, but you should not infringe upon my rights as a God Bless American.

I in no way hate gays. I hate the Gay Straight Alliance though. The group itself acknowledges there is a strife between gays and straight people and tries to exaggerate it, which I find annoying. It thus causes sectionalism. The day of silence is nothing more than a publicity stunt at best, it shows nothing more than people who support gays. Do the rest of us not support them? No, I don't give a damn where you like to stick your dong, but I would care so if you started making it clear to me as if did care. You're just like those African American rights groups, wanting the same treatment because you're the same, but then making sure that everyone knows there is a difference between you. Somewhat illogical, won't you say? What's next, the teacher failed you because you're a fag? Deal with your own shortcomings and don't base it on a supposed prejudice.

For the record, gay marriage shouldn't be allowed in a church, unless the church itself allows it by means of its own scripture. Marriage is a religious union between two people, thus the religion is that which dictates weather it occurs. A law allowing gay marriage is against the separation of church and state. Furthermore, civil unions should be allowed between any individuals who wish for one, that is only dictated by the state and should not be influenced by any faith whatsoever.

I never thought of it like that, but it seems true with the transitive property: A=B, and B=C, then A=C. If Gays=ARmbands, and Armbands=Nazis, then Gays=Nazis.

I think we can all conclude from this that, yet again, the forces of SAx have pwned the GSA.
