Looking for Writers

Job Descriptions:

News - Report on local, national, world, and political news. Since we aren't a major news outlet, most of your postings will be excerpts from established websites. The news must be objective, but you should always post your reaction to the story. If something extremely major is happening, it is in your best interest to post that. Of course, we can't cover everything so please use your best judgment! Not so major news (off-beat, humorist) is acceptable as well.

Media - Report on music, movies, and video games. Most, if not all, of the content from this section should be original. Check out some of the posts made under the media categories for an idea of what to write about. CD Reviews, band spotlights, and songs of the week are all keepers. You can start your own feature if you would like. As for movies, give reviews of PAST and present movies. For videogames, give reviews/post news about upcoming games, consoles, etc.

Sports - Report on general, boston sports, and local sports. It is best if you post original content here such as your reaction to transactions, games, and other news. If you have a chance to catch local high school/college sports games, write about them! Other than in local newspapers, these games do not get covered!

Technology - Report on science, personal tech, business, and health. You can really do whatever you want here. Most of the content will not be original, but that is fine. Here might be a good place to release your opinions on different products and gadgets or even on health and science issues.

Opinion - Report SUBJECTIVELY on public policy and or philosophy. Social commentaries and rants are acceptable in this section. If you like doing that...your thoughts will be read.

Oh yeah: if you guys that just recently signed up are planning on writing say so here because we are finalizing the look for É2.0.

is the É2.0 going to be in the same domain and does the "blogspot" allow different CSS scripts? I guess that's kinda cool but I thought they had to have a static design.

Static design isn't bad. I really don't like flashy websites.
